Path Commands
SVG paths use a compact command syntax with letters followed by numeric parameters. M/m moves the pen (absolute/relative). L/l draws lines, H/h and V/v draw horizontal/vertical lines. C/c draws cubic Bezier curves with two control points. Q/q draws quadratic Beziers with one control point. A/a draws elliptical arcs with endpoint parameterization.

Cubic Beziers (C) use two control points defining the tangent at start and end. Quadratic Beziers (Q) use one control point shared by both endpoints. Smooth curves (S/T) infer control points from the previous curve for continuity. Arc parameters are rx, ry, x-axis-rotation, large-arc-flag, sweep-flag, x, y. The Z/z command closes the path. Path data can be optimized by removing redundant commands.
