Convertir a Unix timestamp to a readable date

Turn seconds- o milliseconds-ya que-epoch valores en human dates, y settle el two classic confusions: unit y timezone.

  1. 1
Convertidor de marcas de tiempo →

Paste the numeric value. The tool shows the UTC rendering and your local-timezone rendering side by side, plus the reverse conversion.

  2. 2

Unit check first: 10-digit values (~1.7 billion) are seconds; 13-digit values (~1.7 trillion) are milliseconds. Feeding milliseconds in as seconds lands you in January 1970 — the most common wrong answer. 16-digit values are microseconds, 19-digit nanoseconds (Java's Instant, Go's time in nanos).

  3. 3

Timezone semantics: a Unix timestamp is timezone-agnostic — it is the same instant everywhere. The date string differs only by the timezone you render it in, so always confirm whether an API expects or returns UTC (usually) before converting, and store timestamps, not formatted dates, in databases.

Preguntas frecuentes

Why does my converted time differ from the log by a few hours?
One of the two sides renders local time while you expected UTC. Compare both renderings in the tool and confirm the API's documented timezone.
What happens after 2038?
32-bit signed second counters overflow in January 2038 ('Y2038'). 64-bit systems and millisecond counters are unaffected — prefer 64-bit time types in new code.
