Generate password and hash with bcrypt
A secure onboarding or reset flow: the first node generates a cryptographically random password with configurable length and character sets; the second node hashes that password with bcrypt using a work factor you choose. Store the bcrypt hash in your database and show the plaintext password to the user exactly once.
What it solves
Generate a strong random password and immediately hash it with bcrypt for safe storage.
