PIPELINE Encoding & Decoding Beginner 2 steps

Convert Hex to Base64

When bridging binary representations between systems — for example a crypto library that emits hex digests and an API that expects Base64 — this two-step chain decodes the hex to its underlying bytes and then encodes those bytes as Base64. The intermediate byte representation is handled automatically by the platform.

What it solves

Decode a hexadecimal string into raw bytes and re-encode it as Base64 for compact transport.

Input → Output

Hex Decoder input → Base64 Encoder output across 2 steps.

1–2 minutes · fully local in your browser.

Before you start

  • A valid even-length hexadecimal string

The pipeline

  1. 1 Hex Decoder hex-decode

Decode hexadecimal back to readable text online. Free, private, and 100% client-side.

  2. 2 Base64 Encoder base64-encode

Encode text or binary data to Base64 online. Free, private, and 100% client-side.
