K8s Ingress
Ingress is the K8s L7 entry routing rule set, routing HTTP/HTTPS traffic to Services by Host/path.
Purpose
Centrally manage HTTP entry routing and TLS for the K8s cluster.
Mechanism
Ingress resources define routing rules (host + path → service). An Ingress Controller (Nginx/Traefik/ALB) implements them. TLS terminates at the Ingress. More flexible than a LoadBalancer Service.
