GOST Streebog
Streebog (GOST R 34.11-2012) is the Russian standard 512-bit sponge hash function, using a 12-round AES-like permutation, outputting 256 or 512 bits.
Purpose
The hash standard of the Russian Federation, used in Russian government and military systems, and the companion hash of the GOST signature algorithm.
Mechanism
Sponge construction with a 512-bit state, absorbing 64-byte blocks, with a 12-round L∘P∘S permutation (S is AES-S-box-like, P is a byte permutation, L is a GF(2) linear transform).
