Collection+JSON
Collection+JSON is a hypermedia format designed by Mike Amundsen that unifies REST responses as a collection containing items, links, queries, and template.
Purpose
To provide REST APIs with a standardized structure for collection queries, template writes, and link navigation.
Mechanism
The top-level collection contains version, href, links (collection-level links), items (an array of resources, each with data and links), queries (query templates), and template (a write template with field definitions in data).
